Modding backpacks

Newbie to this so gonna need a bit of help
i just made a new mod, go figure lol
that adds backpacks to several animals.
anyone want to help me figure this out? and how to fix the inventory Icons as well?

i mostly came here instead of discord because i need references that stay in place. because im like super new to Blender, like i never used it before.

I got blender.
got the plugin, not sure where that goes
used blender to look around the kenshi data folder, its not finding anything.
so yea. im like hopelessly lost in what to do lol.
