Lo-Fi Games

Hello everyone!

Im planning to do some map for the game, but I dont seem to find a way to edit the current map...

Can someone help me? I think the map files are in the land folder (*\Kenshi\data\land), in the files fullmap.apak and fullmap.dds (but I can be wrong!), I tried to open them with some program (google helped me to find them ) but nothing work... (im not even surprised!)

So if someone have an idea, im open to suggestions!

I don't think the map is even moddable quite yet, considering chris hasn't actually finished making it.

I remember Chris mentioning that it was difficult for him to edit it, himself.

Hello, I have been trying to make a new town with this guide http://kenshi.wikia.com/wiki/Modding:_New_Towns

I have made it up to Step 3 but i cannot figure out how to open the "map editor" to place the buildings etc i have followed the steps up to step 3 but yea can someone tell me what I have to press to open it or something?

the map editor is activated IN-GAME. Start Kenshi, load your game and do: SHIFT + F12
At least that was the combi you had to do some time ago... maybe it's inactivated for now...

Well that's the info there is. Write a bug report and upload the crashdump, this will be useful in solving the problem. That just means the feature is inactive as i said it could be...

Yep...you are right. Map editor crashes game out right.

Any developments on this? I would like to hear that we can actually mod the map now!
