Hello all,
I have found some really useful mods on the steam workshop, however, I am not sure about a couple of them. I wanted to know what your experience is with them.
I have been playing Kenshi for about a month. Have around 170 hours of gameplay so far. I have the following mods active:
- Recruit Prisoner
- Strength Training Workbench (This was recently added as I got tired of telling my people to run back and forth with heavy gear)
- Biomes Map (Makes the map more detailed)
- Various cooking mods (adds new types of food)
- Furniture mods
- Dark UI Mod
- Farming Mod (Adds a more visible farm fence)
Mods I am thinking about getting:
- Reactive World (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1358096888)
- Dex Training / Training Swords (My concern is that it seems a bit OP)
My setup: Around 50 people (about 20 workers, 10 crossbow / turret gunners, 10 decent town guards, 10 good fighters / explorers), and 2 outposts. One is a mining outpost and the other is a cactus farm. I have also built a few way-stations for my people to rest while traveling. I enjoy exploring, but I am considering attacking a faction.
Here is my question...should I get the reactive world mod? What has been your experience with it? Can I take out a faction without reactive world? Like what would happen if I tried to take out a Holy Nation Mine or something? If I have already taken out a bandit leader ...does that take the event into account or do I have to import my save for reactive world to work.
What are some other mods worth getting? Any mods I should stay away from? Ones that either make the game-play too easy or can mess up my save? Any advice would be appreciated. Just looking to improve the gameplay experience, I think Kenshi by it self is awesome, but the mods just make it so much better.
Thanks.
