Hey everyone,

I've been waiting for a game like Kenshi for a long time. So now that it is in Alpha, I would like to help it grow and expand. I hope to create a few small things, though modding, in the hopes that they will be considered by the Dev to put into the final product. My first idea is tents. Tents would be inexpensive and weak building that can be built quickly. At the moment, I really don't see a use for them other than helping new players get started easier. Further along they can be used as bandit spawns, military camps, long expeditions....the list goes on. I have started playing around with the modding tool, but I have noticed that there doesn't seem to be a function to create new textures and shapes for buildings. Am I missing something or am I right to assume those are created in a separate program? If another program, are there any recommendations for one? Thanks.

Can't help you out at modding at all, but I think tents would sound like an excellent Idea

I got MilkShape 3D 1.8.4, works alright,
took about an hour to learn enough basics to make a usable weapon mesh.

It's really crude, though I got it positioned properly to make sense when used by a character.

^That's the very first load, before I had enough info to align it correctly. T_T

You'll need this to make .mesh files with MilkShape.

Install it into the same folder MilkShape's files are in.

Here's that crappy scythe you can mess with.
Open it in MilkShape, it's not a .mesh file.
Then export to "OGRE Mesh / Skeleton" after installing the exporter.
