I've purchased through http://www.indiedb.com, I did not have Desura installed and when asked for an account, I linked it with STEAM and purchased. Did not get email or anything. Thus I downloaded Desura, made a new account and purchased it again.

So, you are saying you bought it in 2 separate accounts? What were the usernames for each account? Have you tried contacting desura for a refund?
