Hey there! I bought Kenshi a long, long time ago, sometime in late 2012. I played it and loved it, but eventually had to drop it due to hardware issues and school. I'm back now, though, and I was wondering if there was a way to get a steam key for the game. I do have a game key written down, though it dates back to Nov. 30, 2012, long before Kenshi was Greenlit.

your key should work for steam.

I've tried that, but it tells me that the key is invalid. I tried both copy-pasting it, and writing it in manually, but both gave me the same result.

I looked through the threads there again, and found this:
Captain Deathbeard wrote: -If you had a key personally generated by me (eg you lost your key and asked for a replacement) then it won't work on Steam unfortunately, as it won't be in the archive. Sorry about that, but please don't pester me to personally get you a Steam key.
I somehow missed this the first time I read them, but this would be my issue. The key was one that was likely generated by Chris, as it was a replacement. I'll try sending an email to BMT Micro to see if they can sort me out.
