They are also the worlds 17th largest economy I think. But the second they declared their manifest destiny they would shatter links with europe. No one would trade with them and considering their emphasis on entering the European Union I can't see why they would attempt this. On top of that you have Israel who would flat out reject any kind of Islamic super group. And america is more likely to back Israel than to back a new 'Ottoman' supergroup. Especially easy considering that they already have military forces stationed in the area.

This becomes even more improbable when you consider the Space Marine drop-pods the writer covered in the previous chapter.
Seriously though, the US would step in just to protect the Oil regions to the south regardless of ideology. And Russia would oppose them as well. In short, that kind of declaration would be political suicide.

Yeah, didn't say it was likely, just slightly more likely than American going all 'Imperium Of Man' on Poland and Japan, practically the only way it could happen would be if all international relations had a complete meltdown.

Well, turkey isn't buddhist....

I will be walking around the island that I just moved to. Its 1400km (900 miles) so it takes a month and a half, no choice in the matter, unless I run or ride a bike.
