What do you listen to while playing Kenshi?
Well, this is the off topic forum. So I guess its not an issue really. This can be clogged up and not bother anyone.
As for music, I am into Sabaton. I think they might be a swedish metal band, definitely european of some sort. Basically whatever is on my playlist. But I often just play it with no sound.

Too bad, they are an awesome band. Although it is practically impossible to buy anything of their's where I have lived. Where ARE they famous? Poland maybe?gusmil wrote:Correct Sabaton is a Swedish metal band... However they not famous in Sweden.

I have to say that, more than any other music I own, I love to listen to the soundtracks from Fallout 1 and 2 while I play Kenshi. There's just something about them that makes for great ambient listening.

Germany would be my guess, not really sure where they biggest. Same with my cousin who plays in a band, noone knows a damn thing about them even in the town they live, but they out on concerts all time in Europe because they is famous there.Blxz wrote:Too bad, they are an awesome band. Its time to look at the bigger picture, Everything has a reaction and from that reaction comes a consequence which turns to a reaction, Therefore making a chain of reactions which can change the world we live in!!!
What will you do...

Not as well as my neighbour getting drunk and beating his kids. Somehow the sound of bad parenting fits the desolate feel of kenshi so well in my mind.

Some Two Steps From Hell seems to fit in with the games enviroment and give it a more epic feeling

Since kenshi reminds me of the western time I listen to Ennio Morricone The Ecstasy of Gold

I listen to a lot of different things when playing Kenshi, unfortunately none of it really mixes well with Kenshi, but I love it nonetheless.
Most of the time I just pick a random post-apocalyptic playlist on 8tracks and then let the dice fall where they may
On a side note it's a great way to find new music.

The beard is a powerful ally and a terrible foe.
Like any hardcore computer gamer/Multitasker, I've got multiple monitors set up to my desktop. While playing Kenshi on one monitor, I'm watching Anime on another, or The Walking Dead (If new ep came out), On another i'm skypeing through text with some budies, and on my last one i'm admiring my desktop background. While this is all happening i'm also contemplating my sanity. It's a good time.
The UFO above my house is back AGAIN!!! Where's my shotgun.
