Great picture. Especially since my monthly internet limit has been reached so I'm running at dial-up speeds for a few days (australia sucks for interwebs) and the image loaded super slowly from the top down. Got me all excited and then the beard came up and I suddenly got even more excited. :P

I was playing Boarderlands II (the medieval DLC) and found a side-mission which consisted of killing dwarfs, harvesting their beards and creating an ultra-beard made of dwarf beards!

Well I had one heated evening today. (pun intended, you'll see)

Alright, so I was studying for my exam.
Suddenly I hear people shouting outside (my appartment is on the 6th floor). So I went out onto the balcony to see what's going on (a brawl is always fun to watch) and I see a lot of people outside running around.

At that point, I thought something was amiss, so I decided to go outside as fast as possible just in case (just took my sweater).

I was going (more like jumping) down the stairs, when I saw some smoke around the 3rd floor (or 4th, a bit desoriented then), so it was obvious at that point that something bad was happening. Continuing down on the 2nd floor (or 3rd), there was like a wall of smoke impossible to see through, so I had to run up again.

At that point, I saw some old people coming down from above my floor, so i told them the stairs were pretty much sealed off and helped them get around to the other staircase hoping for better results.

Luckily there were no fumes in those stairs, so we reached the ground floor nice and easy. At that point, firefighters were starting to arrive inside the building.

Outside, I saw around half a dozen firetrucks (a few with those big ladder things) a few ambulances and police obviously. Spend the rest of the evening with a friend.

And now I'm back in my appartment and everything is alright, phew.

Now you may ask yourselves, why post here? Well, I intended to shave my beard tonight actually and because of all that involuntary action, I'm postponing to an indefinite date.

All that because you thought about shaving the beard. Imagine what would have happened if you had actually shaved it.

Actually, I shaved my beard a few hours before the huge earthquake a few years ago when i was in japan.... Dear god what have I done?

I think you guys may be on to something.

When I got out of school I did some outreach bullshiznit in China. Since I was out of school I decided to grow my beard properly for the first time ever. At the time there was a really long drought going on in the Yunnan province which lasted like 6 months. At the end of those six months my beard had reached an adequate level of awesome and then BOOM! So much rain you could drown your unborn grand children.

If anything we hold the fate of the world on our faces.
The beard is a powerful ally and a terrible foe.

Mustaches are for 80's pornos, sideburns are for teens/stoners and goatees are for shady deals (NO EXCEPTIONS toast! i know about your secret plan to destroy breakfast....toast is just phase one! STAY AWAY FROM MY MUFFINS!!!)

Full beard or no beard.

But more seriously, and on topic, a relevant song;

I'm thinking Frozen as male, looking exactly like his avatar, spending 2 hours a day on a small laptop, writing his mind on various forums in all caps, yelling everything aloud while he writes, cursing anyone into oblivion who happens to disagree with him. Am I right here?

You're half right. But the red in reality is me flingin' chili sauce about, not blood. And i don't keep clean shaven like gutz. Also i don't post on forums all that much, usually more of a lurker. And i don't really mind if people disagree with me, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Just i speak passionately or use caps doesn't make my opinions any more valid, despite caps lock being a cruise control for coolness. To quote a popular axiom, "Tis pointless to waste time arguing on the internet, It's like being in the special olympics. Even if you win, everyone participating is still retarded."

Edit: How do you know about my lappy!?! i can't help my computer exploded, DON'T YOU JUDGE ME!!
That's it, i'ma start yelling IRL about prophetic santas

A gathering of all true beard lovers. This contains some truly spectacular beards.

Hopefully it displays correctly.

Oh, and enjoy the absolutely insane and disgusting hate speech tagged along with it, but mostly just the beards.

It's typically full beards. Mine's raging, right now.
