What do you listen to while playing Kenshi?

Stuff that doesn't relate to the game itself

I play the full playlist, I think Firefly's soundtrack fit perfectly with the ambiance in Kenshi ^^

Sorry for the necromancy, but no, that is not the Japanese Rick Roll. The Japanese Rick Roll is Suddenly by Naomi Amagata. if you can't figure out why, then listen to the first 15 seconds of Never Gonna Give You Up and then Suddenly.

Were you that bored?

There really is no point in having two of these topics, so I will just combine 'em in off-topic.

You have not seen a true rick-rolling until you witness this.

Yes I was goddamnit. I was waiting all day for approval to make one defect fix. Being between releases sucks.

So here's something to make up for it, a song that I feel nearly perfectly mirrors the themes of Kenshi ("Endure. In Enduring, grow strong" to quote Planescape: Torment) Team Nekokan - No Sleep Until Clear.

Blxz... why u do this? Granted that was like my least favorite character, but why? Don't go ruining my favorite classic rpg. That's just mean.

You have not lived until you have played this game with the 1980's Conan the Barbarian soundtrack in the background.

When forging a weapon, play the intro track

When raiding a town/being raided, play battle of the mounds

there is a track for everything you can do in this game.

Regardless of whether I'm fighting or not, almost all of the songs are a great ambiance to have in the background of my explorations.

@sunchangping:

Could you please remove all the adds from your signature. Doesn't really look too good or "allowed." I almost reported your post before reading after just a little glance at your signature.

Don't really know if you are a human or very well programmed conversation bot. :?

Umm... Snoring?

That or a nice Hardstyle mix... y'know, to stop the snoring. But then there's the cursing, and the flying things, so mostly snoring.

J/K, but has happened. Fifty feet away through two walls and still snoring becomes amplified by silence.

Can't wait for the music update.

The topic is not just "dead." It is the great historical monument of all the hard work that's been put into the game! It shall be the destination of hundreds of pilgrims who seek themselves by finding roots of the games they play. When history books are written, they go and seek this thread to immortalize the paces that lead to releasing one of the greatest games of our times. Grandfathers all over the world will be showing this thread to their grandchildren and they are amazed by the primitive versions we used to play before calling it stupid and boring. After that they hurry back to the computer to play version 1.2.1 of the very same game.

Tis a fine moment in the timeline of kenshi, when audio was introduced. Good bye days of listening to podcasts and music while I built this city (on rock aaaaand roll), slaughtered bandits, got slaughtered by bandits etc. in the dust of the dunes...

I still listen to the Yoshida Brothers.

Though the 80's Conan soundtrack suggested above sounds like something I gotta try.

the vanilla soundtrack creeps me out and depresses me. I prefer to listen to something.... classier.
