havn´t we had a similiar topic? or did that grow from the games we playing topic? aanyway, why do you recommend those books? what so good about them?

We had a book thread.... did I recommend this one already? Oops.

Anyways... its a great political book with all sorts of betrayal... espionage... war. It is fantasy as well and I do like fantasy. I'm not an avid fantasy reader but I love em anyways. Lol
There are elves and dwarves and such but not in the typical roles they play.

The main characters are not cliche either.

The author has a daughter and wrote with her in mind and sex/excessive cussing are at a huge minimum. To me it makes the reading far more enjoyable.

i just finished apocalypse z from manel loueiro. Nothing really innovative, but it's a nice zombie story that's easy to read. Mass effect books are also fun, if you like the setting. Mostly everything from michael crichton (jurassic park, shphere, andromeda and so on), a song of ice and fire for some fantasy stuff. oh, and the hitchikker's guide is a must read for everyone. And if you want to laugh your ass off, go for discworld books from terry pratchett

i LOVE zombie fiction. just hard to find good stuff. world war z. the morningstar strain series, day by day armageddon series. (these are some of the best.)

sphere rocked. timeline was awesome too. tried reading jurassic park, but it was after i saw the movie that i never go into it.
