My Own Game!

First thing is that this is free and completely free and I'm not going to try to sell anything to anybody ever! XD
It's a simulation/survival type game. Survival is often overused with zombie games. This is not a zombie game. This is like a Man Vs. Wild game. Think of it as a Sim-ey version of Stranded (II). You have all these stats attached to your body that you must keep in balance by simply eating right and not doing dangerous things. It's a simulated body, just like yours, so it shouldn't be THAT complicated...
Anyways, here is a link! Just so you all know, there is no downloads or anything yet, I still need to flesh things out.

I have no idea, as I've never heard of it. But I'm downloading the demo now!
But my game is a human body simulator above all else... if that points you in the right direction at all...

Kinda cool. Does blood regen? Your vid was focused on killing the dude rather than showing off the whole blood system so I couldn't tell.
And what do you actually do in the game right now?

Yes, blood does in fact regen at a realistic rate. I did some research to find it, but it's certainly hard to find straight answers. It will be influenced by factors such as hydration, levels of protein stored in the body, immune system, it's all just crazy. Having everything being intertwined like this, I'm sure in my playtesting things are going to go just plain bonkers.
As of RIGHT now, nothing. But having seen that last winter game, which is basically just a re-hash of Unreal World, of which my project is named similarly to, it will be kinda like those. Dropped off in a hostile world, try to survive, see what kinda cool things you can build and craft. So it's inspired by Unreal World, and also a bit of Minecraft (uh-oh!). You will be able to craft things with increasingly greater technology until I just can't have any more imagination left.

I think that die2nite can also give you a little inspiration (save for the zombies).

I am highly impressed

. Wasn't able to see read two of the flowcharts, but it's evident you've been doing your research. Simulating a working human body in a game... that's incredible!! Would love to hear how you're researching the subject, and how you organize it into game form.
Wish you very well with this project. Looking forward to seeing more.

Mostly Wikipedia...

But thanks! It started out generally easy, but since the number of equations started to grow and interdependencies started to emerge within almost every equation, I had to start organizing all my thoughts in a program called FreeMind. Since then I've discovered a better program called XMind, but it's mostly the same thing. Let me tell you, this has been a MUCH MUCH bigger undertaking than I first thought it would be at first...

Yet another game that has hopped on the zombie-survival-rpg-simulation bandwagon. No offense intended, of course, but after seeing the 30th or so game in the past 2 months that uses this idea I'm less than impressed.

You should f*cking read what I wrote. There are no zombies. I am all too aware of the stupid zombie bandwagon, and I'm not trying to make another Minecraft, I'm creating, if anything, a WILDERNESS survival simulator. Not a zombie survival simulator.
EDIT: I've usually found Wikipedia to be factual... I don't think the hype about how inaccurate it is holds too true unless you're trying to research the density of a unicorn's horn or something like that. But, if you know of any online encyclopedias that have all this type of information, and is free, I'll be happy to use it instead. I think the only encyclopedia in my joint is a wine encyclopedia...

Projects either end up much smaller, or much bigger than your original intention. The exception is if you write out the whole project plan in advance--but it can still happen then, too.

Well, in that case, I haven't gotten TOO far into development... but even planning and research is taking a long time.

You insult me, yet in another post you ask for a 'Warhammer Total Conversion Mod' with all these amazing features that you'd expect from a game that has been in production for years, AND ask that no one insults you for the request. To dump more shit onto the hypocrisy pile. you tell me to 'adequately read', yet you can't even look a few posts up to see that someone has already violently criticized me for not paying attention to what the game is about. Kindly fuck off and quit trying to find people to harass on the internet. It only takes one person to point out my mistake. I certainly don't more people jumping on the bandwagon.

Also why are you making a big deal out of a little insult?

Enough of the back and forth. Lets stay on topic here.
