Lo-Fi Games

I am aware that this forum has been receiving significantly more traffic as of late. I would encourage any RPG fans to check out Torment: Tides of Numenera if they are interested in story based Role Playing with a lot of deep interactivity and responsiveness in the story. While Kenshi aims to offer you the ability to craft your own story in a unique setting and enjoy a magnificent sandbox, Torment: Tides of Numenera will attempt to offer a compelling experience along a variety of paths and ending up with a plethora of interesting legacies your mark can leave upon that world. While Kenshi may offer the capability to be anything, and make of the world anything your heart may desire Torment will be less open in that way. However some of the most amazing creative talents in the game industry will be collaborating on T:ToN. Anyone who was a fan of Planescape Torment has likely contributed, but on the off chance some fans of role playing games with deep interactive stories that respond to your actions and don't pigeon hole you into a "good" or "bad" character have a little folding money to spare and haven't yet contributed to Torment: Tides of Numenera I encourage you to give it a look. Dear god, they lost me during the kickstarter video when the second guy (the bald one) started talking. I've seen robots talk with more passion that felt less contrived. He even felt the need to add 'dramatic' pauses to his speech.

Haha, that's fair. I do have to admit I was mainly sold on the depth of the RP opportunities, rather than anything else.

I'm a sucker for good speakers. This is probably why it is best I never hear Chris talk about Kenshi. His description of this game on that radio interview was terrible.

Still, a sequel (spiritual or otherwise) to Planescape torment can only be a good thing.
