Oh yeah, it is 3am in the morning but I have been waiting for this. Shadowrun returns has been released. If you hear from me in the near future then the game was probably shitty. If you don't hear from me for a while then it was brilliant. if you never hear from me again then that is just lucky on your part.

I can hardly wait to get home from work to play it. Maybe I'll feign illness after lunch. Also apparently the level editor is really cool, so I'll have to put in some sort of catgirl (or shapeshifter, like kitsune from Shadowrun (SNES)) related campaign.

It is pretty decent. but not quite what I thought it would be. The level layout seems a little simplistic and linear. But maybe I am not far enough into the game yet. It is pretty fun though and I am really looking forward to what the future might hold for user designed levels.

LMAO iSuck...
+10 internets to you.
Yup fun one. I'm still collaborating with a UGC developer over there, so it's held my interest for at least this long if you're on the fence. Good ol' (style) game. Not perfect by any stretch but a great call back to when games were... different.

I enjoyed the game but SNES shadowrun is still better (maybe not combat). I was pretty let down honestly, but i still played it and beat the content it comes with. Tried a few player made things but meh. Regardless i am still and always will be a shadowrun fan. worth its price i think, if you take advantage of user made content.

There is a player made mod called shadowrun unlimited. It forces you to start a new character but it turns Shadowrun Returns into a sand box game. Adds a lot of features and items. In my opinion is what shadowrun returns should have been from the beginning. There is s story and what not and is continuously updated. So with that, the game is now making me happier (I already enjoyed it). There is also a SNES version shadowrun mod but I haven't having played it yet.

Sandbox mode? Cool. I think shadowrun might stop disappointing me. I really thought that the game would be more sandboxy instead of the long corridor that it was. And a one way corridor, you can't even go back one room. What a fail when they had such potential.
