Pastries are for chumps, what you really need to be cool is to never stop talking about catgirls. Ever.

Yes, catgirls.

I told the starforge guys, that all angry fans would shut up if they added catgirls to the game.

I stand by this observation.

You guys have it all wrong. Sheer number of posts is the key to success. The more you post the more important you must be. So it is said, so it shall be.

I can't help but feel you might be a biased source.

Besides, everyone knows the best way to be cool is if you joined the forum before Kenshi became hip and popular. 8-)

Speaking of "before it was hip and popular" I started following kenshi the moment I saw it in the steam greenlight because I was so intrigued by it. There were two nightmares these forums have faced. The first is when kenshi first became available for purchase as an early access game on steam. The sheer volume of new forumers and new threads all asking questions, and not a single person recycling threads... it was hell trying to answer all of them. The second was the first time kenshi was up for a sale on steam. This time wedididn't just get all the questions about the game, but rather craptons of people commenting on how broken early access was in general, how wrong it was to waste a daily deal on an early access game, how all early access games are just a scam and will never be completed, shittons of negativity trolls who were not drawn in by kenshi's style of "you are not special" and lack of instant gratification.

Having sat through those and done my best to provide "customer service" I can tell you, having been here earlier is not what makes you a cool and active former. The real key to it is simply... enjoying the game, and enjoying conversations with people who also enjoy the game.

I hope you didn't take my post too seriously Tolwrath. :)
Also have to agree with your last sentence. Nicely said.

I disagree. The best community is the Touhou community. This community hasn't even made any Kenshi remix music or Kenshi fan-porn.

I also disagree. TWC is the clear best community. It has some sort of scandal every month.
