Along time ago it was said that if there was an off-topic board there would be discussions about bees. Today that dream has come true.

I have yet to see or understand this bees meme beyond a single picture that someone posted a while back. What is it and how did this bees start? Gimme a theology lesson here.

Ok then enlightenment ye shall receive. Roughly around September/October of 2011 two members began conversing on a topic that would change Kenshi forums forever.(The people being Magzpierz and ArcaneSaint) Their topic (Posted roughly on the topic "Last to post is winner") was bees. Many of the fledgling members of the time (including myself) decided to join the bees conversation and it spread to other discussions. With many of the members talking about bees,almost every topic under General discussions had at least one bees reference. So long story short, a conversation that two members had about bees escalated into an entire forum talking about bees. So that my friend is why bees exists in Kenshi forums to this day. (When you can understand bees then you will know why crazy people rule the world ).

i joined the day the whole bees thing started, but most of those people are gone now

hehe. I was already stalking the forum when that started. Makes me feel young again (at least 5month ). I joined a bit after that when chris gave us a release date for the demo.

How about パイパイ　(pronounced bees bees) in japanese. It can mean boobies, although most probably used by a baby or young child. Comes from the word 'oppai' which means boobs or breast. Can we talk about those sorts of 'bees'?
