No sound yet, theres no sound engine :P I like to think my fans are the sound of wind blowing in my ears, although they sound more like a jet landing.

Good to know the installer works, i had trouble with my wine setup. Dependencies were pyhsx and directx, easy enough to install when you know how, but i was still thinking of writing a guide at some point, theres been a small interest in getting it to work with linux so it might be worthwhile.

Have you had any graphical errors or weird effects yet? I found that i had to change the stencil tricks thing to get the picture to show up nicely!

So that's why I didn't find any sound files to speak of ;)

I've had a few odd graphical things crop up, but I don't know if they are limited to running the game on Linux or not.
Some hats, masks don't have an image in the inventoy, just a red X. Some swords have a pretty blue background (I forget their name now, tokar or something like that. One of the round buildings in Shark have floating barrels and people buried in sand.

I occasionally had green dots (between seams?) in the landscape, but I seem to have gotten rid of those, I changed that "stencil" option you mentioned earlier and upped the FAA.

But should this discussion really be held in "Feature Requests"?

Chris if you're reading this. If I give you an extra $10 (I'm poor, sorry or I'd offer more) can we have an installer for 0.40? Oh, and thanks for making this game, I'm already having fun and I'm sure the finished version will keep me entertained for years.

I have no idea. Where else though :P

But, i'm gonna reinstall my broken linux HDD today, and probably put mint on it, so i'll start messing around again and see if i can figure out how to get the updater working.
(I got it installed and working - out of interest, how do you launch Kenshi using wine? I've got mine set up to load _core rather than kenshi.exe, otherwise i get a crash.)

That is, unless we can find someone who can translate c# to c++ code, because wyupdate is open source..

If we don't get a new installer, I may break down and do the opposite of you; install windows. ;-)
As for programming, I couldn't program "Hello Wold" to save my life.
Someone should do a Kickstarter or something for porting wyupdate...
