Katana is too poor

There is no scene to use a Katana. because it is too poor.
Only Katana is unreasonably poor, And because of that, there is no scene to use it.

Katana is delicately strong against naked human.
However, it is better to use a saber or Pole weapon even for a naked person.

And, worst of all, the sword has 30% less Armor Penetration and 40% less damage to the skeleton.
This is a fatal factor.

Do you really think this is the best balance?
I don't think so.

But,I think that's what development should do.

Heavy weapons have higher damage though.
However, it is difficult to use heavy weapons. Therefore, it is natural that heavy weapons are strong.
No matter how fast Katana's attack is, I was disappointed with single digit of damage done with KatanaLv93.

Katanas are not meant to be the best all around weapon.
they really suck against metal armour of any sort. they are a long and thin and great against non armoured characters, just like in real life.
they are light and fast.
but if you want to go against someone in heavy armour, you need the proper weapon that can actually get through it. and a Katana is not one of them.

Actually what your seeing now is the rebalance. In the beginning Katana didn't have the armor issue. but they were too powerful. They were faster then any weapon and they did the same damage as heavy weapons. It was just not sensible. The weakness vs armor is fair. on the other hand I personally have taken the defensive penalty off most the weapons. as I found it odd that it made it better to block a sword with your arm then with another sword. That just isn't wise.
But back to Katana/Wakizashi, with their speed it's a different kind of fighting. You have to be fast and chip away at armored opponents. If you are skilled you will still win easily as they can't get an attack.

I have one squad that only uses Wakizashi. They are a terror to all flesh and will take down a paladin with out him landing a single blow. Its just a different kind of fight.
