- "Wagons" of sorts allow you to carry lots of stuff on long journeys in a cart. The cart can be pulled by animals or maybe the NPCs can operate them with slaves. They are a target for bandits though are incredibly useful for looters and mercs. If you hire mercenaries they will operate the cart while your squad rests on it. Using the cart for too long should incur some sort of penalty.
- Slums: malnourished citizens reside in cheap houses that stretch long distances and make up large portions of cities
- Training Gym: for some money, players can get trained in combat by a professional. This modifies their fighting style based on the teacher. Police Stations and Barracks can offer this service as a way to make money on the side
- Pilgrimage: Holy people can make pilgrimages to holy sites accross the map. They carry valuable loot but are well protected.
- Routes: The route your squad will take from pathfinding is highlighted on the map. You can get them to reach certain waypoints along the way, in order to avoid somewhere or cut through somehere pathfinding normally wouldn't go.
- Underground bases: I think it would be cool to make underground outposts. You cannot see these until you find the entrance so they are good for hiding people. They are private most of the time and mining production is higher underground than anywhere else.
