Legacy Mode

Before I begin - I know this is something that can't / won't be added in - especially not at this late stage, but it's something I actually thought about a year ago and I still would like to see something like this (maybe after release or by allowing modders access to code at some point in the far future!)
The general concept is a legacy mode - where you're players actions in the game will remain in place if you start a new game.
Let's say you start as Cannibal Hunters. After playing the game for a while you amass an army, wipe out most of the cannibals and their territory and claim it as your own. You build a series of bases in this region and re-name your faction 'Lost Continent' (or something!)
You then begin a new game in legacy mode - maybe with the wanderer start. When you play this game, the cannibal faction no longer exists, but the 'Lost Continent' faction has been created instead, where the armor you've picked for your soldiers bases built, and the various factions you've helped / pissed off as the 'Lost Continent' faction remain in place. In other words it changes the fundamentals of who is who in the world of Kenshi and keeps things interesting.
If you make a faction that completely wipes out the Holy Nation, you can then start a new game that tries to take over your previous faction that achieved this. It doesn't have to be specific, and maybe auto-generates the faction based on what is around (ie instead of exactly the kinds of weapons your smith makes being available, it could generate a weapons shop in the area etc.)
Anyway - I'm being completely unrealistic and I'm mainly putting this out there for a discussion. What are your thoughts?
