- Note: Many other races do not have facial hair so to speak. Not sure if Shek can regrow their horns, but that would be great.
Dynamic Facial Hair Growth
To begin with, I'd like to address Kenshi as a highly immersive game. I feel like I'm there with my squad, guiding them along the way in a harsh world. Despite how immersive the game is, I couldn't help to be bothered by my human characters facial hair or actual hair not changing at all. The game is about growing, so why wouldn't my character physically as well? I suggest having a shaving razor or scissors or simply your sword to cut off your hair or shave with.

Oh, for Okran's sake... No, I mean, it's a great idea, generally, but come on, even Sims doesn't have such feature, and the game is entirely about character's daily lifes, unlike Kenshi.
If it helps, you can always imagine that every character is carrying a tanto, which they use to maintain the choosen beard and haircut when you're not watching

Heh, Witcher did it to great effect--but it only affected your own character, not the characters in the world. I think something like that could definitely work in Kenshi, only affecting squad mates.Sol Lignum wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:52 amOh, for Okran's sake... Not sure how well the engine would handle such a thing, but for solo-playing male characters? This would be a highly immersive feature to have.
If the devs ever decide to add barbers/hairstylists to towns this would be a great detail to sneak in along with it (definitely would be a "luxury feature" - please fix bugs first). But otherwise you have my vote.
