lockpicking own prisoner cage

Could it be possible to lockpick his own prisoner cage when you are imprisoned in it, please ?

It is possible, but you have -10 skill while unlocking your own cage from the inside. That might mean on a high level cage that you have a less than 5 % chance of unlocking it, which will mean your character is no longer skilled enough to even try.

This is one of the main reasons to give everybody at least basic lock picking skills.

It's even an ingame tooltip that appears quite frequently, well to me atleast. How did you miss this?
