Hey, just helping make this game great :) first a few ideas

- I really want to know what factions own what cities, maybe on the map each city's marker is coloured to fit the faction that owns it?

- With the new diplomatic system, have it so we can join a faction but to join another faction you must leave the first one? this also means you get max relations with the faction you join, but bad relations with factions who dont like the faction you joined.

- Blood, i know blood is allready beaing worked on, but I think it would be awesome if someone is bleeding, they leave a blood trail where they move or stay and bleed more if they are more heavily bleeding. LOTS O BLOOD

- Muskets, yes the ranged weapons that we will have in future updates will be powerful, but you can make it fair by making the accuracy of muskets terrible and take forever to reload. Its kinda something that you fire before a fight not mattering weather it hits your opponent or not, just a boost before melee clashes :)

- Trade relations, if you buy and sell in a city your relations with the faction that owns that city will go up, and when you trade, you get cheaper prices from that factions shops.

Some problems that could be fixed (might just be bugs)
- After playing on a save for awile, people start to bunch up in areas and just stay there glitched out.
-Sometimes bandit squads or ninjas spawn on unaccesable mountain area leaving them stuck there.
- I know its useless, but I have bandaged unconcious bandits to full blood and MED, and taken them to my bed in my house but they still stay dead. perhaps if you save a bandit like this they have a chance to wake up and join you?
-Im not sure if this is meant to happen, but when I import squad I lose my houses :( plz fix?
-I have done a tone of running but my athletics skill will not increase, help? fix?
-Bodyguard button just chillin? If it does something plz help? maybe its not been worked on but still :)
-On the boundaries where you load the next chunk of a map i think, (sometimes you can see a open line to show the transition to the next chunk) Sometimes enemies and npcs run up and down the line while fighting and glitch out.

Thats all ive got so far, I hope these ideas can be considered and bugs fixed :)

I'll try and answer the things you have quoted.

Firstly, muskets have been given a 'no' by chris IIRC. There will be bows and harpoon turrets. Perfect for hunting both whales and annoying enemies.

bandaged unconscious guys won't get up until you leave them alone. They are pretending to sleep because they think you might kill them...I'm not even joking. Leave him in the desert somewhere and walk away. You will see him stand up once you get far enough away. They won't join yet, and I hope they never get coded to join because that just doesn't strike me as real at all. I do hope we can stick them i an arena of some sort though in the future.

Import and lose houses.....Let me get this right: You are starting a new game in a new world but using the stats of your old characters and you wonder why all the changes you made to the world have disappeared... You may not understand what the import function does. (its a new game)

That's about all I can answer off the top of my head. Good luck with the rest.

Rainy does point out some things I haven't really given much thought.

The identification of what faction owns what city has probably been thought of, but it never came to mind yet. Haven't gotten to explore all cities yet due to pathway issues.

If I save someone from a completely destroyed group, that I didn't have a hand in destroying. It would be nice that they decide to work for you or something in return.
Will the options of following and bodyguarding expand in any way?
Relation increase through trade.... it would become a wee bit lonely fast if it becomes too easy to boost relation.

Dialog is in place for a bodyguard system for traders, so the answer to that is yes. And there are a number of ways to improve standing like rescuing members by bandaging them and carrying them to a bed. A lot has been added in the last couple of updates. It is not enabled yet, but I expect it will be soon.

You know, a dynamic map to me ruins some of the fun. If the map shows who holds the city 'as far as you know' that's great, and would help me enjoy playing. If it magically updates as the green faction engulfs the other side of the continent on the other side of the mountainous rancor monster mating fields....then yeah, its info I should not have and ruins the surprise. Traders are an existing means to spread info, if you are having trouble with your traders being raided (or raid them yourself) you would be cut off from outside news. Then your map would not be updated.

Fog of War concerning updates on map, haven't thought of that, nice!
Then perhaps when you attack a caravan, you won't hurt relation as long as you kill them all before their allies spot you.
Wouldn't following be basically stalking, if you aren't protecting them when they go into battle?

I do hope you don't have to control your entire faction if you have to gather news like that.
Speaking of your faction, it would be great if there was a display that would tell me that my guys are under attack, like a sword or something on the portrait to show they're engaged at the moment and other icons for other actions.
