Appoint a "leader" figure?

i know it's sorta against the spirit of the game but it would be fun if we could appoint someone as "leader". I know most people already do this in their minds. It doesn't have to be that fleshed out but just enough that when visitors come to your place your appointed leader will be their "spokesperson". Same when talking to importnt people or "delivering mesages of alliances to faction heads". If it is not the leader that talks to them then a character could say something along the lines of "Hi, there i come in the name of yada yada of the yadayada faction." or something like that.

I do not oppose the ability to set a leader.
Then the dialogue event that talks about who the leader is, your appointed leader could say something, like "I am!".

If so I think they should just have a dialogue reference # to the first person in the first squad as the current leader. Or the highest skilled fighter in the group for a one on one shek duel. ect…
That way you could create the dialogue to match the situation.

Yeah, something like that. It doesn't have to be a political simulator but just "some" kind of leader is enough. I mean Communism does have it's points but in reality ANY group needs a leader (Maybe skeletons don't?). Though i wouldn't mind to have something like an oligarchy either or maybe some kind of a "war counsil". Rebellions in your on faction is a stretch too far i feel or maybe it should depend on the characters personality? I dunno. A system like Mount and blade Warband would be cool but very tiresome in the end.

since there's no inner squad drama and no characteristics for moral or anything to facilitate them I see leadership mainly as a variable for creating dialogue options. If that's the case just having a spot in the faction screen to indicate the leader or empty for no leader would suffice.
