Kenshi timeline suggestion AND only thread I have

Ok after some thinking, I've got 2 possible timelines, you tell me what you think! 1: the civilization has recently developped robotics, althought they are quite primitive, the crippled can walk again, but many movements have halted the main project: find a more eco way to produce energy and stabilize the atmosphere again. The representative of the protesters said: "WE WILL STAND, NO MATTER WHAT! GLOBAL WARMING IS NOTHING COMPARING TO THIS ATROCITY TO OUR PURITY!". Apparently, that was easelly crushed. Water evaporated, technology was lost and chaos settled in. All that remained was desert, desert and more desert. However, there was a gift, problably from God himself: huge water deposits were found. Before they lost too much tech, they tapped as many deposits as possible, and so the towns were formed. After all the tech was lost, the people started to try survive. Diseases barely made it to our bodies, but they were more deadly. However, robotics was still avaiable and swords, bows and improvised harpoon guns were made. Katanas were more common and new weapon classifications were made by this new civilization. Bandits were frequent, but the police were more well equiped than the old police. Jobs suddently started to be avaiable in all places, it's medieval era all over again, except it's more Japan-styled and whenever you turn, danger will be along. You are but a mere person who afforded a cheap Katana and alot of money. Humanity has adapted and may live alot longer than 100 years due to the terrain. And this... is your story to survive in the harsh desert. This is your story to become someone, a Kenshi, a trader, a pacifist, a bandit warlord or maybe even a god. It's your choice. Good luck.

2: Humanity has made a small stellar empire. All this hell started when a colony ship which had dozens of years of being worked on finnally being avaiable for duty. Many people were sent to a planet lush in both resources, life and future. However, most of the colony had robot limbs implanted. Many extremists boarded, determined to threated the flourishing empire with the many people on board. However, the ship had a major failure and crashed in the planet. At the same time, a huge ecological disaster happened, greatly killing the fauna and flora of the planet, making a desert and all that remained was the underground water. Tech was lost quickly. However, the people in the colony were innovative and had a high atraction to Oriental traditions. They invented harpoon guns, adopted swords, bows and crossbows and preserved the most primitive and basic robotic tech and implants. No contact was possible during that time. After that, the ship with all the tech was destroyed by the aggressive and adapted wild life and many people were slaughtered. The purists forgot their reason of being there and started to accept robotics and foccused on survival. People started making settlements, villages, towns and cities. Things din't go well at first thought, and many bandit clans were founded, with many members. After that, a mercenary guild was made and the police was constitued by veterans that held many waves of bandits. A new type of even deadlier bandits was made, the sand ninjas. They roamed the desert at day and were known for having razed a town at knight by assassinating the police silently. Towns started to make day and night shifts, mercenary presence was more frequent. Seeing that not all towns had the same resources, a traders guild was founded to keept them all supplied. You have recently bought a katana that is rusty and cheap and you still have money left, alot actually. The habitants have adapted and they are now able to hold a month without eating or drinking. They can now live alot more than 100 years. It's time to continue following your survival instincts. Humans have changed in different ways, not all being the same. Some have different skin or different anatonomy or organs. But one thing is for sure: all that will ever matter is survival.

I'm pretty sure there are plans to add plants and water and such down the road. None of the environments are near an end state.

This is better than some other timelines where it's basically a crummy fuedal Japan re-hash / copy with post apocalyptic undertones. I didn't read the second one though, so this applies only to the first.

3: In a peacefull planet, a human-like race was born. Other races were born of course, but they are not like thoose brute orcs or skinny little elves, no they were VERY different. This planet was lush with green, the ecological system was PERFECT. Harmony prospered on the planet for centuries. But the most amazing thing was the discovieries the race made, especially robotics. Normally, it wold be near the end of the modern age that robotics wold be discovered, but theese humans made the impossible happen. Some said it was a miracle. Others a gift. However, they started to abuse of the Planet's resources and wild life. They hunted and mined more than the planet could take. Then, "The Day" happened. An ecological disaster made all grass turn to sand and dust, and all water disappeared all of suden. Scientists tried to figure out a way, but it wasn't long until more bad stuff happened. Many omnivore and herbivore species turned to carnivorous way, easelly hunting humans and even razing entire cities. Then came the last disaster: the bandit clans. There was so much poverty and misery, that about 1/5 of the population became skilled bandits. Theese roamed the desert, waiting for they prey and killed it mercilessly and fast. That is until the humans learned to adapt. The Trader's Guild and Mercenary's Guild started to train their newcomers and veterans, mainly into sword-weilding. They invented Crossbows and harpoon guns. Robotics came down a bit, but was still useable and was hard to forget after you learned it. They started to look more oriental, and they learned how to use adapted agriculture, but it stil lwasn't enough. What saved the entire race from dying, as well as the entire life, was the discovery of VAST underground water deposits that ranged miles and miles. They made wells to take the water, and so they were saved. However, misery and poverty were just slightly reduced. And there was still famine present in the planet. But that doesn't stop them from surviving. They continue to strive, and that made alot of faction rise: a City State, Imperial Lords and the Holy Empire. However there are two questions: will life survive? And if it does, which will? Diseases have apated, although only about 2-3 and they are alot more deadly. This is your jourmey of survival, will you survive alone or with others? Will you survive as a small faction or the biggest empire in history? Will you be a Warlord or Savior? Will you be a Bandit or Guard? But the most scary question of all... will you survive, or become a skeleton amongst the desert?

Shouldn't there be like cheap tents for temporary encampments? I mean, when I want to siege a town for a quantity of days, I want to build an encampment to so then my troops can have better protection in case the town atacks me. I can already imagine them, with my coat-of-arms and men patroling around the camp and guarding the gate.
