Please make Kenshi open source

First of all, I'm playing kenshi for more then 10 years, returning to it every few years. Its an amazing game, one of the most unique.

But execution is realy poor, sadly. A lot of things can be much better. Mod-makes doing there best, but they don't have much freedom. A lot of easy to do thing are just impossible with FCS.

And I'm realy hyped for kensh 2, but its not near scope. Even then vision of the dev can differ from what players want and expect. And even its same, kenshi 2 may lack of recources to make all of things good.

So I resly want that dev of kenshi will make it open source to allow players to further polish this great game. I know its more like a dream, but such game deserve improvments. Just let us be able to made them.

the game needs a new modern game engine.
the current one is to dated.

and i hate to say it, its very unlikely the Dev will open the code to anyone.
most game companies never release access to their code.

There could be a chance that once Kenshi 2 is released the developers will release the source

Valve made tf2 code open.
I still ask devs to make kenshi open source. Comunity doing great job making a lot of mods to game, but sdk limitation make impossible to change a lot of things and make smth realy special.

Kenshi is still a source of income to the company.
maybe in a decade or two they might open it up. but i wouldn't hold my breath on it.
