how awesome it would be to have an arena? (or several)

they have a steady fighters crew. of about 50 fighters. the last of them is like a fight god... all near max stats.

once you beat him, the arena is yours and the fight god and his crew are now roaming free in the world as a free faction. then you can put some slaves in the arena and train them so they can fight for you. you put money in the arena and an auto bet system. if your fighters lose, you lose money and if they win, you earn money.

any toughts?

if u ask me this is like a quest that is not given. its just there if you want to do it... very keshi-style!

Actually an arena could be a great training ground for your low powered characters. I mean it's a virtually guaranteed 1-vs-1 fight. Getting them actual fight experience in the wastes never has odds as good as those. Your other party members murder enemies too fast, or there's too many of them.

Its a good idea,but only in capitals and huge cities.

When you say "your fighters" do you mean the people in your squad, or the slaves you're making fight? (Hopefully not to the death, lest SPARTICUS). Building and/or operating your own arena could be a great way to capitalize. And given the right perks, could even raise the moral/acceptance of your slaves.

I really like this idea, I'd love to see the ability to sell concessions to patrons when running the arena, fix fights and rake in massive profits... I'd like to see the ability to construct your own arenas as well, so there could be more than one path to the profitability. If we ever got wildlife, man vs beast was always a popular bit of bloodsport.

Theres already an arena in the southeasternmost city, theres just no game mechanics to power it.

i ment that you can put your slaves in the arena, and then train them with your squad members. that way the arena can run in the background with the people you put there.
but be careful, you need to guard it yourself or with guards, or all those trained slaves might decide to make a run for freedom...

maybe you need 1 guard (also a slave, but he is a confortably slave) per every 3 or 4 "gladiators"

in fact you could choose a start in wich you are a gladiator. and you need to get strong enough before you can kill a few guards and run off... and years later you can come back to fight for the prize...
