hi, im new here and just buyed the game, but i was wondering if i could give some ideas while my soldiers get trained with the dummys ^^

ok here's the thing:

hire the enemy: i've saved an desert bandit from death and im carrying him untill he gets better, maybe we could hire him for a price like a sword for hire? he could demonstrate his gratitude for that i guess ^^

horse car: meybe we could make a carroage to go throug the desert, we could use the animals that will be in the future to that use i guess

squad organization: we could organize our squad in groups and send them to a far away town to sell some materials or goods, meanwhile we could play with the rest of the squad training or fighting (note: meybe some chances to the squad or menber sent to the mission get caught from bandits, died, injured or even imprisioned and ask for money to get free)

ok thats some of my ideas, i dont know if someone else said something similar, but i just couldint stay here without say something about it ^^

k thx bye

ps: meybe some of them be stupid, but im just trying to help
ps2: yea....my english is HORRIBLE...

--------edit---------

:!: Another idea:

Training and Apprentices: we could teach someone new on the squad on fighting, medicine, labouring and enginering (and more), but only to the stats level of the "teacher" or "trainer"(someone of your squad who have a better technique), that could make the things much more easily when we hire someone weak, we could get him to our level REALY fast..

I like the idea of recruiting those you've beaten, but I'm not to keen on paying all of them. I would totally threaten or intimidate them into working for me. Or maybe they'd just want to join someone stronger than them. There's always the worry of them betraying you too, which I find awesome.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it been stated that you'll be able to turn your prisoners into work slaves later on? Still it'd be cool to recruit them to your squad/faction, rather than just turn them into a slave.

yea yea that's greath, meybe a moralle system for your companions, or rellationships, but that too much stuff to think right now ^^, but still being able to recluit or befriend people in the game could be awesome as hell, kind of a "realistic world" felling and kind of fill the empityness of the game

about the "betrayal" thing, meybe he could call a huge group of bandits when we travel in the desert, like an ambush or something like that xD

Betrayal would be the worst! (READ: Best!)

If there is one thing I learned from Genghis Khan 2 on snes, It's to NEVER trust that bastard Gori Subech. He'll turn on you the minute you take your eyes off of him (Gave him his own land. Ingrate!), and I would assume the situation would be no different recruiting just anybody you happen upon. It would definitely make things more interesting. (Sorry about that ranty left field post, I'm getting tired, and that damn in-game situation has bugged me for years)

I do like the idea of training squadies (it's been mentioned before), but I think the training rate needs to be limited.. Perhaps a hard limit of up to X skill, or a fraction of the trainer's skill. There are training dummies, but this only allow attack skill to go up to 10, and I've found by the time I can get around to building one, I don't really need it any more. I'm guessing these might be more useful if you start off in a game with a handful of new recruits and a small base already set up for you. In fact, that sounds like fun - I'm going to see if i can mod that right now.
