Hi,
Im playing for long time, but this is my first post. I love Kenshi!

I think, there should be option to attack your own teamnate. If you hold RMB on your char, you should click "Attack target" as you do with enemy, so they start to fight themselves.
Main reason is getting skill, and there should be some training swords (for example bokken*, dealing just "shadow" damage, not killing ;)

For not getting skills quick without danger, there should be simple rule - skill is rising just for char with lower stat, and maximum, which he can get is for example "stat of higher one" - 20.
So if are fighting one with 30 attack and one with 5, max he can get is 10.
There should be skill teaching or training, which decrease this limit.

I think this isnt so hard for coding, at least first part ;)

*wooden katana used for training.

The new training dummies in the patch you can research you can already get your attack skill up to 10.

I actually agree with him: you can learn more fitghting a person rather than just constantly hitting a dummy. The trainees will have to fight extra hard to so then they win, thus it's kinda like combat, except the wodden swords require less strengh to level up your character.

Well... this idea makes sense...but, there are all ready ways to relatively safely train up in real combat. Characters with skills in the 20s are quite formidable, 30s threaten just about every thing. 10 from the training dummy is a good start. This is quite a easy request however, someone might mod something like this.

I think the real bonus sparring has over a combat dummy is that sparring can also teach defensive skill.

Tolwrath, don't you mean parrying? However if sparring is a word that does exist, then O.O . Also, I doubt it's more beneficial to constantly hit a dummy than to fight a guy with a bokken.
