- Warehouse building to store every resource including food, iron bars, cloth etc. Maybe have GUI of a larger chest with 40 stacking or just have numbers of available resources in warehouse. option to upgrade it to have a automated or not selling capability. Other Idea is placing storage units in this building will increase their capacity.
- Workers can load/unload their products automatically into their inventory and into designated storage unit.
- At certain skill level (75?) ability to specialize (maybe up to 3 skills) providing bonuses r/t that area of expertise (Better/faster smithing, additional str for heavy weapons or some berserk ability, unique upgrades to buildings or buildings for engineering )
- Alchemy - potions to revive dead, heal cut-off limbs, fast run, increased strength. Find/grow/loot/trade ingredients/potions?

**Also research although is impacted by skill - still working funky - I have multiple research benches and my research time goes into negative. Im sure it has been reported though.

And thanks a lot for this great game, I enjoy it so much. :)

I like the warehouse suggestion instead of having the individual storage boxes, I'm not sure how hard the coding on that would be though.

Alchemy is out of the question. There is no magic potion that can magically revive people or make their health go up like in some RPGs. Potions can't do that, it's completely unrealistic. They may someone be stronger but have side-effects like steroids, but that's about it.

However the other suggestions are good.

I don't think I'd have a problem with alchemy so long as it was never used for restorative purposes. It should be reserved for small buffs such as giving a boost to stamina or hunger suppressant or replacing all character dialog/sounds with the drunken ramblings of Blxz.

I am a big fan of the warehouse idea. Maybe if alchemy was introduced in a way like weapon crafting but success is dependent on the skill of the crafter. The created "potion" could offer a small buff to some of your stats. Possibly have the potions treated like illegal drugs by most factions.

I think alchemy could be more like drugs, that could be both legal and illegal. This could be a variety of things from steroid-type things that boost attributes for a set time, but the drug would need to be used again once it wears off. This could lead to addiction and this attribute could actually weaken without the drug, and so on.
This could be interesting as drugs could be like slavery in the game- a question/touchy subject where some places may allow it and some might not. This could lead to more interaction between communities and towns.

I like the warehouse idea. It would be essential for larger bases.

As for alchemy, I support it, but within the bounds of things that actually exist. For example, multiple groups of people around the world have used plant extracts to send themselves into a rage, granting increased stamina and resistance to pain. In the game, this could be faster speeds and your character ignores being crippled, to a degree.

Warehouse idea is spot on. Either storage for multiple materials or like it was mentioned previously, the ability to put a storage box down and select what you want to store in it for that time period, being able to change it at will.. OFC the characters will still automatically fill this storage box with whatever you select for it to hold.

The alchemy suggestion is sounding more like "Chemistry" to me as this thread goes on. Alchemy is such a medieval word, it builds a picture in my head of wizards or sorcerers, etc.. I dont think thats what is intended for this game. Chemistry however, is a totally different picture.

Nice suggestions btw, proper example of what "Suggestions" should look like. Respect.

Alchemy and/or chemistry isn't just used for drugs. Historically, it has been used for poisons, quicklime, Greek fire, etc. Using it to make napalm might be a bit overkill, but I think I'd like to see quicklime in the game, it'd definitely change tactics when dealing with ranged troops.

So does that mean that Kenshi may have steroids/steroid obvious rip-offs but even worse?

I am skeptial about such enhancers to be honest, unless they had their proper drawbacks, which would make some of them be ilegal and make you a target if they found you d produce (which someone said something similar before).

Yea steroids/drugs should have a drawback as well as a boost. I think they should also have some sort of addiction mechanic as well. Possibly a lasting negative effects once a drug has been taken several times or once depending on the strength of the drug.
