This is just probably going to be a small discussion on how the Workshop could give more life to the final copy of this game. For instance, people could design their own armor, weaponry, buildings, textures, and so on. I'm also very aware that this is a trivial matter but, it could still work out nicely considering that this game is single-player only. I'm only suggesting this for two reasons, one because Steam seems to be the main hub for this game. Two, because I've seen what the Workshop has done for some games like; Age of Empires II, Skyrim, Scribblenauts: Unlimited, and so on.

I think it would allow the community to add some things that they had requested, but Chris might of not implemented. Would it possibly make modding easier? (not that i COULD mod!)

Chris made a simple tut for using the Kenshi mod. you can read that and it might help you to learn simple things, otherwise im sure people will post vid tuts on how to use it later.

I think with the "Steam Workshop" its more of a political matter.
If kenshi wanted to have "Steam Workshop" as part of their game, Valve would likely need to be getting something out of it or Valve wouldnt agree.
Ofcourse it might not be like that and valve might be more than happy to help, but i doubt it.

Kenshi needs this it has support and it would let more people know about this support and give a large boost in modding which could help the game out a lot

I think Kenshi is great game for modding and I'm sure that the steam workshop would do miracles with the game. Mods are one of the reasons why I think PC gaming is so great and I agree with OP that workshop has really turned some "normal" games into a gifts for mankind. :P

Kenshi could easily be one of those :)

Hells yeah. Now here's some food for thought. I know Minecraft did this but I don't know how well it could be done with Kenshi. So you look at where the mods are coming from and how popular they are, downloads or reviews, then the devs of Kenshi add those into the game in the next update. There are some really gifted modders out there and if this happened it would allow the players to do the leg work in getting the mod to work correctly with the game, get the meshes to work, and follow the lore. All the devs would need to do is add it. It's something to think about.

Actually not sure what it will add. Including mods in the game is soo incredibly easy right now.
Just download the mod into the mods folder, and select to include it in the launcher.
What could be easier?
