executing prisoners using heavy machinery

I believe that we should have the option, to send a message to surviving members of enemy factions, that we do not mess around.

The fun, easy and cost effective way to do this, is to execute captives with our heavy machinery.

I would like the see the automated Ore/stone mines crush people with the cranes.

I would also like the option to feed people to the ore/stone processors as well.

These would be very cool things to see.

Please consider implementing this,once other gore aspects are implemented.

That is not the same as having the messenger survivor watch as you stuff everyone else into the stone refinery 5, and watching the chunks fly out as if in a wood chipper

Even better: Doing so will make a "compacted person block" that gets sent back with the designated messenger, giving everyone a clear idea as to why they should not mess with you.

While executions, ransoms, bribes, and negotiations would be such an awesome system to add in order to diplomatically interact with the npcs factions, the heavy machinery idea would kind of... urk me.

Imagine this scenario: An entire trade caravan wiped out by cannibals(bacon cultists). The traders guild is tired of their shenanigans, and has decided to hire the most sadistic mercenary they know.

so you kill most of them, and smash a few survivors in the stone processor, and leave a few more alive to tell the rest of the world about what you did.

word gets out, and the holy empire now classifies you as a heretic and a heathen. BUT, the bandits, and the gangs, ALL leave areas around your base alone, and any friendly factions alone.

You may not be loved, but they sure do fear and respect you.

If you behead them with a sword then they

A. Know that it's thier friend.

B. you don't need to send heads back just impale them and put them around camp.

C. You don't send a block of meat that would have disintegrated from the process nothing would come out other that useless mush.

D. You don't have a giant mess to clean up.

E. if you want sadistic executions/torture just look up vlad the impaler, Romans, Greeks, inquisition, Mongols and more people's ways of to torture/exicution way more graphic and message sending than a machine death.

While all accurate depictions of how I would understand the diplomacy system to function, the issue has been said when it comes to your production building being used for alternate purposes, when that's just too much and unnecessary.

... Mafearaak's entire post has all conventional and realistic processes, and his mentionings towards Vladimir the impaler, mongols, and all the other goodies are exactly what should be implemented when it comes to torture, or prisoner executions.

This isn't a horror game or movie. Sadistic executions are too much for this game. So long as the message is sent to the other factions, then that's all you need.

The Shogun made daimyo commit sepuku when they dishonored, shamed, disobeyed, etc. to make an example of him for his followers and his neighboring daimyo. How powerful must one man be to make another man stab and cut out his own intestines?!

It's not about the method you execute a man, it's the message that you send to others.

Bandits come to yor base to take your money, you kick their asses, and then there comes another group, largers and more powerful than previous, and you crush corpses in ore processor (which, if you remember, can turn into badass machine when you leave it overnight) to frighten suckers.
Pay with cruelty instead of money.
