Heya !
First let me proclaim my affections for the game and my thanks. Now that that awkward stuff is out of the way i shall proceed, humbly of course, towards my few suggestions.
There are many suggestions already, i checked (quickly ) and some were there but slightly different so i will post mine regardless.
Beasts equals not phantom town. (npc replacements)
I have visited towns in order to rent a bed and rest only to fight hordes after horde of beakthings followed by dogs ad infinitum, until the town was "empty". the suggestion here ... would be guard replenishment or having double teams in order for the "dead" ones to rest. ( Inns have a tendency to be unusable ( "you do not own that bed" ) and i thinks its due to the attacks, so the inn man should be replenishable to.
Kill count -> comfired/uncomfired -> kill count reputation good/bad (karma?).
I fought countless opponents ( healed them to .. sometimes.. ). Knowing how many would be nice, further expanding on that idea though, killing thousands of bandits could affect how bandits see you and good taxe paying citizen also. On the contrary killing alot of merchants for spoils should turn you into the boogeyman.
Banditry-> pay to pass-> fight them all -> chanlenge the boss (Duel).
Many posts suggested duels and i like them to, but here i was thinking rather when confronted to a bunch of bandits it would be fun to chanlenge their strongest man. Samething with lawman eventually and squad memebers to ... and generaly anybody as a matter of fact and honour.
Banking !! -> loss of on hand cash.
I allways thought that bandits were real dumb to take my armour and weapons but left the 500K on my person alone ( also having to carry 500K ... should weigh you down ALOT). But mostly i believe that what you can lose is more valuable and when robbed the valuables go first. To prevent that you should put your money in a bank, hide it behind a rock or something.
Beg for your life ! -> wounded beg for their lives -> heal/kill.
I dont realy need to expanded here, i think its clear. But as a sword enthousiaste i would like to have a Tamashigiri option on the dead. How else am i going to test my blade?
Teaching skill.
The skill of teaching anything to anyone. I'm not sure if this could be kept balanced but it would feel more natural if one could teach another a skill they know.
Personality traits.
This one is in my opinion the coolest but possibly the more script heavy and stuff... The idea is to have characters branded with a personality trait such as coward, eratic, brave, lazy, berzerker and whatever else you can think of. These would trigger a response unpredictable and sometimes chaos inducing. Cowards would flee as soon as the balance in battle would shift, berzerker would go berzerk and be quite dangerous and fun ! Furthermore thoses traits could influence work ( ex: lazy would be good at researching).
Well, that's all she wrote as they say, to those still reading i give my best regards and apologies for the potentialy poor writing they suffured through.
Lo-fie Dudes and Gals thanks for a great game ( eventualy great ... its still a bit buggy... )
Cheerio !
A few suggestions
Yeah i'd love to be able to have different kinds of schools, in NPC towns to learn from and the ability to use like training grounds to have my characters improve their fighting both offensively an defensively dummies are nice but they lack the ability to improve defense to me I consider defense far more important than i consider attack.
a teaching skill and different ways to teach would be nice.
Hm and i'd like banks too with potentially generating interest. because i agree i think they should steal money not just gear. though the issue with that is if they still all of your gear and every dime you have, you don't really have a way to re-equip yourself. o.o
and i'd also like personality traits whether or not they have skills associated with them dunno . but it coudl effect how people view you that have encountered you before and know your behavior/personality trait(s) .
mostly i'd like them to effect the NPC and their behaviors.

You might consider picking one of your ideas you think is the most viable and edit the title of your thread to include it, there is actually a developer comment on that. The devs will have a hard time finding your good suggestion if your thread title isn't specific!
