Enslavement

It may be a nice update to add the ability to enslave people, craft leg chains, recruit them, sell them, add to their "slave status" that they are our slave and that stuff ^.^

I think that would be great and an easier way to recruit and make faster resources ;)

I like this idea.... but I would love to see arena styled battles that you could enter your slaves into like gladiator or something. Trade, Buy, Sell, and.... Fight with your slaves. hahaha

that would be good too because by that way you could train your weak members

Build an outpost IV.
fill it with cages.
Fill the cages with captives.
Close the door.
Drop a weapon in the middle.
And open a cage.
You now have a gladiator arena where you can use slaves to train your fighters.
Or drop two weapons and let out two opposing captives. Like dust and hungry bandits.

I hope i'm wrong on this but I thought they said they didn't want the players to be able to enslave people?

they did, it was not a feature ment for the Player to have. He might still add it, but he would have to code that in.
Though we all thought the player would have that ability. as did i for a while until the Dev confirmed it was just something to add a bit of spice for the player.

hmmm well a dust bandit is more experienced with combat than a hungry bandit, thats why hungry bandits are more effective when they are in large groups, but it would still work for a small arena :P

you left out the part of setting the rest of the faction to passive, to keep them out of the training.

speaking from experience here.

meh, I guess they didn't add it so players wont "walk the wrong path" of enslavement and that stuff, right?
If that's the problem, well in a wasteland where you have to do whatever it needs to collect money to be able to survive in a place where the rule "kill or be killed" exists, moreover if a player wants to be evil, he/she doesn't need slaves, he/she just can recruit many ppl, train them, craft strong armor and and lethal weapons and start killing everyone from civilian NPC to Bandits and creatures ^.^
but anyway I hope they do add it ^.^

and btw you have a nice PC xD

Not sure what you are looking for as "slaves", but it's an easy dialogue mod to make imprisoned NPC's become squad members. After that it's up to your imagination. I have used it on a couple of games to create a squad of servants/slaves. Have them working the kitchens and fields ect...

They cost you squad member slots, and are not automated, no moral or mutinies or anything but it's a simple start.

Right now, the best way to get the recruits from hostile factions to stop attacking you, is to lock them in a cage. This opens up the normal recruitment dialog option.
