Probably it would be a very interesting idea to do a version of the game for computers of 2 GB of ram. It would extend very much the market. Lowering the texture and the shades.

believe that would be impossible.
and people who only have 2GB of ram pretty much cant play any video games on the modern market today. not to mention that's a small market and growing smaller every day.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

Current computer specs.
AMD FX-8150 - Eight Core, 3.60GHz
NVidia GTX 1050TI
24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz Ram
WD 1tb HD, 870 EVO 1TB SSD

if by "very interesting" you mean a bad business choice in the long run sure....the only way Kenshi could run with 2gb of ram , is if it looked like one of the original Warcraft/Starcraft games. and removed ...pretty much everything else. o.o

even if they made it look like that...to keep all the features you'd still need a good processor. 1.5ghz isn't going to do much(i assume 1.5 maybe MHZ? is more accurate is what was being used in 2002 >.>)

After all most of the demands games have isn't "Ram" its processing speed.

it would be cheaper for you just to upgrade your ram. than it would be for them to attempt to use outdated technology.

Ram is only like 50$ for 8 gigs your only limited by your mother board .

I can honestly say I know no one now days who has under 4 GB of ram, and even then that's the low end. Anyone who games typically has a minimum of 6 I think...
AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor @ 3.50 GHz
AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
8 GB RAM
Windows 8.1
