Dualwilde Wish (Solved)

Hi There everyone,

I have a wish about the Option to use Light Katanas and Wakizashi as Dualwilde Blades not just wear it on Back or something more to use it Both whit the Mass Combat Skill.

I whas thinking about it like:

Request is: Strengh 15-20 or Dex as you want.
And then your Char can use it on Wakizashi first and whit enhanced Combat skill you can use Light Katanas.

It would make the Part of a Assassin what i love to play (but dont finde the Armor Parts anymore) more special and the fun of my Gameplay mutch more rased as it already is.

At this point to a sorry for my bad English it isn´t my main Languare its German

So i sayed what i wanted so keep up this nice Work.

Dualwielding would be awesome.

For Assassins, or even just extreme warriors. It could reduce your Defense by X amount, but up your Melee by X amount, as well as give you the double swing - You could possibly dispatch quite a few people, if your stats are right.

Is it an absolute no-go, or just something that is not in the plans?

I think if it decreased Melee Defense, it could balance out. Obviously you're better able to defend with an extra hand available, right?

I've thought since I started playing Kenshi that dual-wield would be an incredible addition, though balancing would be key. I think the Melee Defense solution may be the best.

Well, you know.. While time passes, ideas come and go, and opinions change...
Maybe someday the Dev might think "Hey, maybe dual-wielding wouldn't be so bad after all".

sicne he would have to get someone for the mocap animations plus the coding for fights with two swords at the same time.

I think they are more willing to add something if it works with current content or planed features.

while it is technically possible for them to eventually change their mind. Dual wielding isn't as easy as people seem to think it is.

You don't 'block' hits with swords you deflect them.

Fighting with two swords requires a lot of attention a lot of detail. at least to be done properly.

So are other fighting styles like hand to hand combat also a confirmed no?
Will there be no hope for a Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star in Kenshi murdering everything by punching them to death?
