As now, when engineer building
they will go to storage, take as many as material if they can
than go to build construction

I'm thinking, if can add a order, when adding material is done
engineer can put all those material back to storage ?
and only take one kind of material at a time

for example:
wind generator
it need iron plate, and copper
1)take iron plate from storage
2)add iron plate into construction
3)building
4)if still need iron plate, keep adding
5)if not, put iron plate back to storage
6)take copper
7)add copper into construction
8)building
9)if still need copper, keep adding
10)if not, construction complete building, and put copper back to storage.

will that solve the problem,
engineer always take a lot material on them
and can't build next construction, if need different material

and still need to think a way
let engineer is keep empty of inv and backbag
if they have other work to do, like farmer or baker those kind job.
will be a lot stuff full in inv.

A more elegant solution would be to have them only take as many materials as the building requires to complete.

Not sure what's easiest to program but it makes more sense to me than having them fill their inventory when they only need 1 or 2 materials, then having to go back and forth returning them to storage.

Either way, would like to see this as well.

Don't know if it's the one I've read before beta is release.
I kind read few topic in that month
most, I only read Feature Requests, and steam forum
but after beta, I didn't read any topic in here,
only on steam.

well, as I saw, it's asking how much number the construction need
like 5 copper, the engineer will take only 5 copper
and that's a good idea, but it will cost lots time for programmer
need to write some sub program on it, or change a lot on AI core program part
will be more bugs, I guess.
and if engineer is more than one, like player might set all 30 crews as engineer
so, how to handle the AI part, set only one take 5 copper.

best is simple, no need too much math on it
so the game will much smooth.
for later, adding other system, or they wanna change setting.
or make another game, it still works.
