EDIT: Actually, down the bottom it says it won't be on steam until it is fully finished....so what exactly does this 'greenlit' status mean for the game? Will it just be listed on the main page somewhere? In that case it still requires people to come here to purchase? Less good than I thought.

The point of greenlight is for indie games to get accepted into the store.

Personally and I have no evidence to back this up But I beleive that it will be like War of The Roses is, the game will show up as a pre order and you can buy it to gain access to the Alpha, and I also think Steam is only asking to make sure the actual game exists and is in a semi playable build which Kenshi in my opinion is, but We will see what Chris says.

Yes, it won't be on steam until its finished, but its good that it has been officially confirmed to be on Steam. The game is a long way off from being feature complete, let alone polished and bug-free.

And I've made awesome amounts of sales this month just from the Greenlight page alone, its all good. Bursts of money = bursts of progress.
