While the price of the game isn't set, it's likely to cost something come September. However, here's some random ideas to get more people into the game (add yours)
Monthly Drawing - Once the forum becomes active enough, have a monthly lottery for the active members - they get a free license to Kenshi. This can be given to anyone, or used for themselves.
Member of the month - Drawing upon the top, this would be given to an excelling non-team member.
Buy one, get one free - If someone buys the game, they should get a free one to give to someone. This could potentially (unlikely though) double the consumer base. While you deny yourself a bit of profit, you get your word out much faster about this indie game
Day of freedom - For a day (or few) the game will be free. However, these would not come with a license. People who download it that day can't update, they can't redownload, ect. It's basically a demo

Yeah, if the game was finished and going for $5 you would not expect much of it would you?
Anyway my plan for pricing is to start at 5 euros at first release. Then the updates will be released monthly, with the price increasing by 1 euro each month, maybe less, probably capping at 20. Final release will be full-price like all the other games 30-35 euros. So 5 years from now you will see it in the shop and be like "Ha, I got it for a fiver! And one of my ideas are in it!"
I like your ideas Windex, I'll think about them.

Please. If I wanted to I could finish the first town by the end of the week. I can get a building in game in 3 hours on average, 4-5 for a bigger one with individual objects.Thats why the game is progressing slowly.
Hell, this took about an hour and a half (most of it was spent in sythe and the editor)

Texture is crap and doesn't tile correctly, and keep in mind there is a small bug in my version which doesn't update shading based on rotation people. It'll be fixed soon
There's 3 different sizes to the pipes (that's the biggest, smallest is about the size of his head)
Each size has a Connector, straight, 45* curve, 90* curve, and end piece (half circle thing)
Happy with the results.
