A note on getting news of your Kickstarter out there:
You probably want people to spread word, so hitting up gaming sites and forums would be a good start. I've started a threat on Reddit's /r/gaming -- lots of indie games have seen considerable funding come from Reddit. I think it'd be a good chance to get a lot of exposure, after all, that's how I first heard of Kenshi.
I've posted news of the Kickstarter here, I just hope that it'll get enough interest to get big:

Suggestions
One of the biggest things that I want to see MORE of in your Kickstarter campaign is pictures. You NEED to have lots of pictures, people want to see what they're putting their money into. You only have seven pictures. You need more pictures: pictures of combat, of the inventory screens, and of planned content. I noticed in your video that you included some of the future content, such as building structures and large scale fights -- I really want to see that content reflected in the game screenshots as well.
NOTE: I noticed that Vurt included some excellent screenshots of the game on this thread. I think including those screenshots would be awesome.
Up until now, only one gameplay video of Kenshi is up. While it's a good video, it simply doesn't show enough of the current/planned content for Kenshi. Something that would REALLY sell the game to me is showing planned features -- cutting off limbs, and perhaps replacing them. Defensive structures, as well as some of the other planned features. It doesn't even have to be gameplay, it could simply be a video of yourself talking about what you want Kenshi to evolve in.
Example Kickstarter Campaign
An especially successful example of a Kickstarter campaign can be seen here:

The developer of this game had an excellent kickstarter, partly because he gave people a face to associate with the development of the game. Also, because he had a TON of gameplay videos, and A LOT of pretty pictures. Also, the developer had a lot of specific plans for the future and outlined how he planned to allocate his cash. In short, the developer of the game already had a lot of gameplay content that he could present. That, and his corny video did a good job at showing his sincerity.
Grim Dawn's kickstarter was successful because they pointed out that development of their game is going to be heavily influenced by the community, something that I would really like to see in Kenshi. At the moment, current development seems to be undergoing a kind of "black box" phenomenon. New features are being released, and I don't really know if community ideas and feedback are making a large impact in the production of the game. By telling potential investors that they can influence the development of Kenshi by throwing around ideas, it would attract a lot of interest. Personally, I feel that there were a lot of excellent ideas being thrown around, but I haven't really seen any of those ideas being addressed. If you look in the gameplay section of the forum, you can see a ton of interesting ideas. Not all of them may be viable, but some are worth considering.
A few of the especially interesting ideas are:
- Suggestions on expanding the medic skill: Defibrillator & Checking pulse
- Cloning (Definitely needs balancing, but an interesting idea)
- Dual Wielding
- Medical Research
- Bounties
Another note, I think that more constant updates on progress in Kenshi would be a plus, especially during the duration of your kickstarter campaign and for a while after it. One thing that people want to see is how the new money is being used in the game; I imagine that an update once a week, minimum, would be excellent.
Anyways, good luck on your kickstarter! You've got a really good idea, I hope you get the proper funding!
