Development seems exceptionally slow for so little progress... its what happens when your doing stuff from scratch i guess.

Perhaps, I think some of the bugs may be slowing things down. He apparently spent most of a day on the invisible buildings bug. Unfortunate. Still, progress is progress.

I facepalm every time I see someone deciding when a developer is going to slow....

Its utterly retarded to decide that the developer/s are going way to slow. There could be any reason in the world that you have no clue about. Its not like the game is being developed to tailor to your whims and desires...its being developed how the developer wants and the developer is ensuring its done RIGHT not rushed. It takes time.

Rushing leads to bugs and shallow games.

Reasons and consequences are completely irrelevent. In early May he made an estimate of two weeks. Missing that deadline (by many of the definitions of slow) "So as to fall behind the correct time or rate; To delay; Taking or requiring a long time; etcetra..." means that it can be defined as 'slow'.

I really don't care how long it takes, rushing certainly does cause problems. But, that is not my point. My point is, no one decided it was slow, It simply is because this is English.

Reasons that a game is slow which are unknown to you do not mean the game is not being developed slowly. I agree that rushing leads to bugs and shallow games. Which is why kenshi is being developed slowly and carefully, instead, this is a positive or negative depending on your personal opinions.

You seem to think the phrase "Kenshi is being developed slowly" is an insult or an offense of some kind. Its not. Its a fact. Does it mean chris is a bad dev or that the game will fail? No, of course not. But the game is still going slow, for better or for worse. By pretending "the game is being developed slowly" is a negative observation you essentially discredit the development of the game for those who think it is slow. you are telling them "if the game is slow its because dev/game/whatever is bad".

Think before you post.
