Then you should probably add the crashdump file from Kenshi folder to the testers forum.torwi1 wrote:Also my game crashes after just around 2 min. Normaly would it run for around 30-60min.

Game still crashes randomly for me, even after installing and playing 0.30.
Game is loads of fun, but unplayable for me still
Addendum:
I've set the game to Single Thread and no fancy shaders. In version 29.7, I could typically play for around 30 minutes before the game crashed.
In 0.30, I get to play a couple of minutes only.
This game will be bloody fantastic in time

I know this is probably a waste of a post, but I downloaded and it runs perfectly. Although it says it's running 29.7... so... I think cancelling the second disk might have goofed it up (I have that problem santaissosick posted a screenshot of) but I have no idea. It seems I can play the game indefinitely, it's not laggy or buggy at all. So it probably didn't install correctly and is somehow running 29.7 and completely ignoring all the files I put in the Kenshi folder. In that case, you will never get the 30 seconds you spent reading this back. Those 30 seconds are now mine. Thank you.
hi
Copied the 0.30 installation into the installation from Desure, and it let me play for less than 30 seconds before crashing again.
Seems, as the above posters is experiencing, the game thinks it is 29.7 now, and not 30.0. It is unplayable for me

You can make sure what is your current version from the changelog in Kenshi folder

Game Runs fine for me, at that disk 2 error I just hit cancel and now the game runs at version 0.30.0
The only time it has crashed for me is when I hit the F9, F10 and F11 buttons repeatedly (trying to find the map editor)
Speaking of which, does the editor work in this version? I read that it was fixed?

Most of the crashing should be fixed now, I will get version 0.30.1 uploaded tomorrow.
My game crashed, just a minute after I began to play.
I also wanted to say this is the first time kenshi crash on my computer.

Excuse if my English is not very good, I'm just a french fan.
Ok, I'm a total noobie. Just download this yesterday. Since 0.30.1 will be out today this might not be that useful, but just in case...
Fresh install of 0.30.0 asked for disk two. I canceled and it would play. It says it would save but everytime it crashed I would have to start a new game. Turns out it didn't create the save directory.
My solution was to download 0.29.6 and install that. That one wouldn't even run on my system, but I now saw the save directory. I installed 0.30.0 over the top of it and the game would run but crash every couple of minutes.
I then took a fresh install of 0.30.0 and just copied the save directory into that install and I can now play for around 10 to 15 minutes most of the time before a crash.
Edit: ATI 6850 - I wonder if crashing is at all related to video cards & drivers. I'm also running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Im astounded at how many ppl are suffering crashes so rapidly. on both the 0.29.7 ond 0.30.0 versions I can play for hours before it hits a glitch. I think the only problem Ive found with ver 0.30.0 is that everytime i go to loot a body it spazz's out opening and closing the inventory. even if closed manually it pops open again in less than a second. makes it hard to raid dead bodies in a hurry lol.
Regardless Im addicted. cant wait till all the options are opened up.

0.30.1 just crashed for me, after 2 mins play. It didn't generate any dump files though, and the error was for the core.exe file.Chris_The_Great wrote:Most of the crashing should be fixed now, I will get version 0.30.1 uploaded tomorrow.
I launch it through the Desora client.
