I also heard mention a while ago in RPS, but was browsing IndieDB when I stumbled upon it again just after the recent release.

I have also been mentioning it on other forums I frequent to get the word out, specifically Rise Of Flight.
The members there are very loyal to the developer, willing to drop $7-$15 on a ingle plane, so hope they will jump at the $10 investment to get Kenshi flourishing!

I was waiting for someone to bump this old thread

On Indiedb began my journey, searching for games of adventure thinking they be the same as RPGs.

Proven wrong was I, turned to strategy I did.

Stumbled upon Kenshi and proclaimed "Where can I give that delightfully devilish fellow all of my money and my future college fund?!"

It's like Moddb except for indie titles instead of mods.

I saw Kenshi's page on moddb and been following it ever since I first saw it, but I can't buy it (because of reasons I can not explain here :( ).

I apologize for the necromancy (don't know if that's frowned upon in these parts), but I wanted to share my story.

I was bored, and trying to spend off the last few bucks on a MasterCard gift card I had bought the day before, after buying Gotham City Impostors on the Steam half-off thingy. I googled "games in alpha stage purchase", as I recall, and this, Zomboid, and a few other titles came up. I read the FAQ on the official site, started watching a youtube LP of the game, and after the second episode I knew that even at the current stage, it looked worth getting, and being in alpha, it would be constantly evolving. Always one to support a game with potential/a dev with skill (done so years back with Minecraft, and more recently with Kerbal Space Program), I put down the 10 bucks and grabbed the game. No regrets.

Was browsing through ModdB for a game to play, found this after several pages, easily looked the most interesting out of them all.

Indiegames.com. While looking for my next RTS I happened to stumble upon a brief description of what looked like a samurai-RTS (Complete with RPG-like features). So here I am. :D

Found out from Gamebreaker.tv This game wasn't listed specifically, but they had a video promoting the bundle from Gamergate. I bought the bundle specifically to check this game out, just to let you know.

Found it while browsing Desura's store (which I heard of by indie royale which I heard of from... I'll just stop there) a few months ago, but I was waiting for more patches before buying it.

I ended up getting my copy today from the indiefort bundle.
