An anyone tell me where I can find ancient science books in game?

Just note that even after looting the Lost Libraries, World's End (Mechanist University), and the Tech Labs, you might still require a few ASBs to fully complete the Kenshi tech tree. If this is the case, you'll need to import your current save (effectively restarting the world, but letting you keep your people, research, buildings, cats, and, last I checked, relations with other factions, though this might be false).

If you ever require further assistance, feel free to join the Official Kenshi Discord server at https://discord.gg/ux5Gjw. There are plenty of people there actively who would love to take your requests for assistance. :)

It used to be possible to buy 12 ASBs in Worlds End shops, but judging by my last couple of games, that option has been removed :(
Lost Libraries and Ancient Labs are the main places to find them, but the Machinists and the Black Dragon Ninjas have some in their towers, and they can occasionally be found in Post-Ancient Workshops (though these are better for Engineering Research books). I'm hoping that there are more places to find them on the new map sections, as I really don't like having to import just to complete my research.

Actually, Worlds End will still sell them, but it will only be for the first day you discover them. After that, their vendors no longer restock the books. So if you're going to visit World's End, do it when you're loaded on cats!

Yes, that was what I used to do - don't set foot in Worlds End unless you have 60000 cats in your pocket. Between 3 shops there were 12 books, which would a) not restock and b) be bought by someone else if you didn't buy them straight away.
On my last couple of games however, none of the shops had any ASBs, but two of them had Engineering Research instead, which a) they didn't stock before and b) have never been a problem as regards getting enough - I used to have 5 or so spare to sell.
