Hello gang!

Early-game can be brutal on new players, finding themselves dropped into a brand new sandbox with a bunch of questions and no answers!, I thought I´d give you guys a tip on what I did early game to make some quick cats so you can fill your bellies and get yourself some more squad members!

- Assassination -

The assassination skill allows you to knock out enemies from behind, leaving them unconscious without having to fight them. As you might imagine, unconscious people are easy to rob. Starting out, you should be able to find some easier targets for highway robbery (Starving farmers, bandits, vagrants, etc). You´ll have around 10-30% chance to successfully knock out these targets on a brand new char. Simply find a group of weaker enemies, sneak up behind them, and try knocking them out! If you keep the weight of your gear low, you should be able to easily run away from failed attempts, and don´t worry, getting beat up in this game is great for your stats! Your char´s skill in assassination improves quickly on lower lvls, and after just a few attempts, your chance of success should improve to around 70% or higher (If you keep targeting farmers and other easy targets).

You should find yourself being able to make quite a lot of money this way early on, getting funds to increase your squad-size and keep them fed!

Good luck out there! :)

I usually reap the benefits of the Holy nation purging every River Raptor and any other bad guys at their checkpoints and sell the stuff back to them. If you get a trader backpack and fill that with raptor hide you will easily score 5-10K easy from a pack of dead raptors. The outpost on the edge of the grasslands you can get iron plates and other electronics and or gear from the storms of robots and ninjas that stroll through there.

Copper Minning isn't the most active thing to do - even if you still have to assure nothing too big stumble uppon your feable fresh spawned, but it is one of the early ways I've found to make quick and "safe" money. You can easily buy a backpack, then a garrou to increase you're efficienty. When gou get the garrou and 2 people, you can easily make 10K+ within 20/30 minutes and far beyond if you mine longer.
I also combine this with stealth/assasination and athletic leveling, with some fighting when encountering "weak" groups or lonners.

The Great Desert is a good place to do so, since there's always some skimmers that will get killed by something - giving you free food. And once you've leveled a bit, your team (as an exemple 2 melee, 1 ranged, 2 dogs 1 garrou, with 10 attacking skill or less), you can defeat groups of 4 to 7 pup garrous ; giving you a f*ck tone of raw meat to cook early on.

If you're not yet convinced : once you get the garrou the game makes it easy on you. Since you'll stay longer on your minning spot, there's a high chance to meet trading caravans while you're at work : optimizing even further your profits.

When starting my monk game I needed to train strength as well as unarmed combat. So I would mine a backpack full of ore near Stack and then run it over to Blister hill to sell. Then fill another one and run back. Each run was more then enough to buy some food at the bar, and I got good training in by joining the local patrols in fights. Quickly improved all the necessary stats for an unarmed fighter, and I never went hungry.

They will most likely fix this but mongrel has endless fog prince and heavies swarming in. The guards take them down/imprison them, but they dont take the 3-5k heads from each kill. I started rebirth slave game and got 300k by day 3.

Copper mine in the Hive village west of The Hub:
- Cats selling the copper on the village.
- Eventual fighting with beak things and gorillos side by side with hivers to train your skills.
- Beak things corpses provide meat so you won't be hungry.
- Eventual trips to the Hut with inventory full of copper to train strenght and buy gear/hire companions.

A bit tedious, but effective way to get money and companions besides some training.

Sneak in while someone is sleeping, and you can just kidnap them.
My experience with the High inquisitor Seta: I just ran in with disguise to find info, and I found the option to kidnap when I sneak to the inquisitor in the bed(it was 5 am and). And nobody stopped me while I'm carrying the inquisitor. Easy 40000 bounty.
I wonder if you can find body of Paladin(killed by beasts) at the beginning and do the same?

Once you get enough cats you can buy mercs and use them to distract beak things then grab the eggs from their nests.
