How to join the army?

I was reading the faq's, and after I have been playing for a week I still didnt know about it, is it in the game yet? or is it in the future? And if its now, how can you?

i think it is not implemented yet
but you could just follow squads

It isn't in the game yet, but you can follow traders and help them in engagements. Just make sure to have some medical supplies on you.
