I just wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to Chris. Not only for this already amazing game, and it's promising future. But also for the very quick updates for bugs. Especially the recent inventory bug. Great work man! Rarely have I seen that kind of care for the gaming community.
Again, thank you!
Thank you Chris!
indie games start slowly, but then the world realizes that X games is pretty cool. See minecraft as an example.
Terraria, Project Zomboid, yup Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress, and many others. They go above and beyond in terms of game-play, and mechanics. And all have had success and been emulated. This one though is going to get a good kick from steam, and then Chris will have to wonder, not when he can hire others, but rather what artists and such he wants to hire from the "big" companies!
(High aspirations... maybe. But why the hell not) As I said above He has catered to us exceedingly well

I think chris would like to remain indie. idk.thburns wrote:Terraria, Project Zomboid, yup Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress, and many others. They go above and beyond in terms of game-play, and mechanics. I know, I was just saying when it goes up, he will be doing good!
Plus you can hire big name artists and still be indie. I can't remember names right now, but some guys have left some top rungs of the big companies and gone inde. So sometimes money doesn't lead to people selling out. Though, sadly, it often does. (Yeah Mr. Durst, I'm looking at you. Did it all for the nookie my ass...)
But I think this game, and any from Chris in future, may be safe from pop-culture! Just my feelings from some of what he wrote!
