I'm still amazed at how may ways I can play this game.
I have two games that are working to over through the HN. One from the Shek side and one from the Flotsum side. Both have a different feel to them. Making them two completely different games.
I have one game where I have built a monastery and my characters practice MA and make Sake to trade with the UC. (no melee weapons allowed)
I have one game that is all robots whos mission it is to find other robots to bring into a safe haven they have built.
I have one that is a single platoon who is out bounty hunting.
I have one that is just two people and a bull, trying to make it on their own. (It's not looking good)
I have one that is a hunter and pack of dogs that move around the map surviving on the meat that they kill and the skins they can sell.
I have one that is a theif who steals from the UC nobles and frees slaves.
I have one that is trying to build and live exclusively in towns. (needed to mod an indoor well to make that possible.)
I have one that is laid back on the west coast, no one bothers them, the only reason they need to leave is to acquire more iron and copper. If anyone knows of a surfer mod it would be perfect for this one.
I have one where an all female group is trying to make a living inside HN territory. Lots of trips to the Diplomats in that one.
I still have my original game that I started years ago. they have built and move so many times I can't count, and now they are moving to the south eastern territories.
I have one game that I run just as traders. The make booze and hash and send out caravans to sell it.
I have one that is just bandits who raid and attack everyone in sight. Except waystations so they can have some place to sell stuff.
I have another game that is in opposition to the various ninja factions and searches to hunt them down.
I have someone looking to help the Outlaw farmers and slaves.
I just started an all hiver game, I will see where that takes me. Might need to mod it so they can build hives instead of regular buildings.
And I'm looking to start a HN fanatic game to take on the UC and the shek.

Just amazing that I can play all these games in completely different ways, and they feel completely different too.
This is how computers game should be. Nice Graphics are fine, but having the freedom to play your own way with limitless options is far more important. I'm glad Lo-Fi figured that out. Thanks again guys.

What ways do you all play the game?

My current play-through is similar to your monastery game. I started it as a solo-character game, but then he freed a fetching young Scorchlander lady who asked to join him, so now they're basically a power-couple who've thus far overthrown Eyesocket (locking up a fair number of the guards) and are currently embarked on a campaign of exploration and research. They're also rebuilding the Hub.

Out of my other games, my favourite is a solo-character game with a female Scorchlander bounty-hunter. She was hard to start, but now she's tough as nails and can often hold her own against entire squads. She's a lot of fun, though I have to be careful playing her.
