Is Chris planning to add in a few estear eggs and references? i.e. weapons, he could make a katana based on the one used by a character in League of Legends called Master Yi. he uses a katana, almost a broadsword, but its light and fast in its strikes, it actually ressembles the Ringed sabre, if thats the name, but it IS a katana, with the same purpose of breaking polearms. Pretty much a Broad Katana, as long as an extended one.

I would love to see references like this

Yeah, now that I think about it, it might not be a Katana, but on the copyright, Riot Games references a lot of other movies, dances, songs and games themselves, hell, I think that 10% of the dances their champs have are original and not references! So I doubt they'll sue Chris, but I'd still recommend he asked first

It does not look that hard to mod kenshi. There is a tutorial on the mod section about how to add modifications of existing weapons.

Easter Eggs don't have to be direct copyright infringements.

I don't think Riot actually has a name for Yi's Katana. Although I am definitely for Easter Eggs, and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a few that match the theme.
