Hi,

So, I've been putting of buying Kenshi for quite a while now but since it made Greenlight I thought I'd try to find out some more information before finally deciding to buy it or not buy it.

I have a simple question (I hope)...

1. What can I do in Kenshi?

What I mean is, what do you actually do in the game thus far, what is it capable of? Do you just run around looking at the scenery or are there actually things to do in the game in this early stage of development?

I've tried watching a couple videos on youtube, unfortunately the ones that I found either had absolutely annoying narrators or all the player did was run around the desert doing basically nothing.

Is there something to do besides run around the landscape at this early stage of development?

You just missed the post. It is one above you and contains all the features in Kenshi.

For now you can hire more squad members go tade, fight bandits and ninjas. Build houses and interior, heal your squad members and carry them arround. So you can do a lot at this stage.

But what you aim for is up to you.

Ahaha, I have to agree with you. Most people who have done vids of kenshi have been terrible. I haven't seen many of the more recent ones though.

As for features, there is a sticky in one of the threads. But it basically boils down to: recruiting characters, buying stuff, killing stuff, and building houses.
There is very little higher level functionality yet. The demo is not restricted in what you can do so try that. It does limit you to only 2 people and a skillcap of 20. but you'll be able to walk around and see everything, which is not that much just yet.
